About This Puja
Tripindi Shraddha offers pinda and tarpana for three generations of ancestors. It is advised when shraddha has not been performed for years, or when Pitru Dosh appears in the kundli with family obstacles. Trimbakeshwar, Gaya, and Prayagraj are premier sites; the rite may also be arranged with proper pandit guidance elsewhere. Typical vidhi includes sankalp, ancestor invocation, pinda daan (rice, sesame, barley, ghee), tarpana, and often havan. Best observed in Pitru Paksha (Bhadrapada) or on Amavasya.
